NET East Coast Netball Tour 2027 – Expression of Interest

Service Description

We’re excited to explore the possibility of taking a group of NET girls on an East Coast Netball Tour in 2027! We’d love to offer our athletes the opportunity to experience netball beyond WA, challenge themselves against teams from interstate and enjoy an unforgettable experience with their NET teammates. What are we thinking? Our initial idea is a four-night trip, flying over on a Thursday and returning on Monday, with a combination of netball, elite-level inspiration and team experiences. The proposed trip would include: A mini netball tournament or friendly series against teams from the east coast, giving the girls an opportunity to test themselves against new players and different styles of play. A West Coast Fever game (likely against Sunshine Coast Lightening) so the girls can experience the excitement of elite netball live. Team bonding and fun experiences, with time to explore the city and make memories together. Potential additional training opportunities, such as a specialist session or training with a local coach. We’re currently exploring suitable dates and locations for 2027. Ideally, the trip would run from Thursday to Monday, with the tournament taking place over the weekend (potentially April). Dates and destination will depend on tournament opportunities and the 2027 West Coast Fever fixture. At this early stage, we estimate the cost will be approximately $1,500–$2,200 per player. This is a preliminary guide only and will depend on flights, accommodation, transport, tournament fees and match tickets. We’ll investigate options to keep the trip as affordable as possible while ensuring the girls have a fantastic experience. No payment or commitment is required at this stage. If this is something your daughter would be interested in, please complete our Expression of Interest. This will help us understand potential numbers, age groups and whether we have enough interest to take the next steps. Registering your interest does not commit you to attending. Once we have a clearer idea of numbers, we can investigate the best options and share more detailed information with interested families. We think this could be a really special opportunity for our NET girls, both on and off the court, and we’d love to see whether we can make it happen!
